Answer
Yes, all parts that come into contact with water or pack contents are BPA free.
Question Back to top
Are there any accessories for displaying/storing packs in the works? Like the K-Cup carousel and tower?
Answer
The Vue pack boxes are uniquely designed to be displayed individually or stacked on top of each other. To stack, simply tear off the top flap of the box and place the other box on top. In addition, stay tuned for incremental storage devices to be made available in the near future.
Answer
No, the packs are NOT interchangeable across systems. An entirely new system was developed for the Vue® Brewers – one that would maintain the simplicity and ease of the earlier system, while adding features consumers have told us they are looking for - the ability to brew stronger, bigger and/ or hotter.
Answer
Yes, the existing water filter handle and cartridges work with the Keurig® Vue® Brewer.
Question Back to top
Does the Vue® System have the same privileges as the K-Cup® System for our Loyalty Clubs – Café Express (greenmountaincoffee.com) and Coffee Club (keurig.com)?
Answer
Yes, members will have the same privileges with the Vue® System as with the K-Cup® System.
Question Back to top
For a two-step café beverage, what happens if I brew the coffee first and then froth?
Answer
The sequence of FROTH first and then the COFFEE base has been optimized for the Keurig Vue® Brewer. If this sequence is not followed, you may receive a sub-optimal beverage. Also, if the FROTH is the last to brew, we recommend running a Cleansing Brew.
Answer
The brewer should be descaled at least every 3-6 months. Scale is harmless, but if left unattended, it can hinder optimal brewer performance. Descaling your brewer regularly helps maintain the heating element, removable water reservoir and other parts of the brewer that come in contact with water. Better water quality and water heating means a better cup of coffee, tea, hot cocoa or iced beverage. We recommend descaling your brewer at least every 6 months (every 3 months if your water has a high mineral content). The descaling process involves using 48 ounces of undiluted white vinegar. descale your brewer.
Question Back to top
How do I drain and store the Keurig Vue® Brewer? Is it the same as the others?
Answer
Prior to storing the Keurig® Vue® Brewer, please empty the Water Reservoir. You will not be able to empty the internal Water Reservoir. When the customer is ready to re-start the brewer, please follow the instructions starting on page 8 of the Use Instructions.
Answer
This is a 3-step process outlined on page 21 of the Use Instructions.
- Step 1: Lift the Brewer Handle.
- Step 2: Grip and press the buttons on both sides of the Brew Head and tilt down.
- Step 3: Pull the Brew Head toward you to remove.
Carefully clean the Brew Head with a soapy, damp non-abrasive cloth and rinse thoroughly. The Brew Head should not be placed in the dishwasher.
Return the Brew Head by sliding it gently back into place until you hear a click. Lower the Brewer Handle and you are ready to brew again.
Answer
Lift the Adjustable Drip Tray Plate and rotate a third of a turn until it drops into place. Make sure that it is secure before placing your cup on it. This setting is ideal for avoiding any splatter when brewing smaller cups.
Answer
The drip tray for the Vue® Brewer holds approximately 15.75 oz of liquid.
Question Back to top
My brewer ran out of water while I was brewing a 16 oz beverage. What should I do?
Answer
If you run out of water while brewing a larger beverage, your Vue® brewer will instruct you to add water. Please follow the Use Instruction guidelines for filling the Water Reservoir. Once water has been replenished, the brewer will continue with the brewing process. Please note – never remove the Water Reservoir unless instructed to add water. Otherwise, the brewer will alert you that the brew process has been interrupted.
Answer
Brewer dimensions are approximately: 12.2 inches (height) * 10.07 inches (width) * 11.39 inches (depth).
Answer
The height is 7.25 inches and is the same as with K-Cup® brewers. This distance is the clearance required for an average travel mug.
Answer
The serial number is located behind the Water Reservoir. Remove the reservoir and then look for a 10-digit (XXX.XXX.XXXX) code in the upper section of the brewer.
Answer
The streaming process depends on the beverage being brewed. If you are brewing a strong coffee, then the brew process is adjusted to optimize the beverage. This may result in a pulsating stream versus a constant stream for other beverages.
