Associate Sales Manager (ASM) - Upstate New York & Northern Connecticut

Reports to: AFH Regional Sales Director (RSD)


POSITION DESCRIPTION

The ASM is responsible for assisting the RSD in delivering an Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for their Sales Region in the Away From Home business segment. Working with the RSD, the ASM is responsible for growing Keurig's penetration of Office Accounts to 15% or greater in the Region with consistent year to year growth.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Under the direction of the RSD, develop and execute a Keurig Authorized Distributor (KAD) strategy to achieve the AOP.
  • Seeking and adding new high potential KADs with approval of the RSD
  • Managing select KADs in all facets of our business as assigned by the RSD
  • Optimize the performance of the entire region’s Keurig Authorized Distributors (KADs) via hand’s on management and training of field personnel
  • Represent Keurig and its policies to each KAD resulting in understanding, acceptance and adherence to our KAD contract provisions and other company policies
  • Provide business building growth ideas for their region to management and Corporate Marketing
  • Represent the company at Trade Shows in the region—and as required—outside of their region.
  • Accounts Receivable collection for KADs assigned to the ASM that are beyond our payment terms
  • Helping drive end user interest in Keurig via prospecting meetings and cold calling from time to time among high potential office targets

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree from College (minimum)
  • 3+ Years successful Sales experience selling products thru a third party distribution network
  • Prefer early experience in a major "Fortune 500" company learning basic selling/management skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office tools: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Ability to uphold Safety standards, participate in Continuous Process Improvement on the job, and follow our business best practices.
  • Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions.
  • Ability to follow Keurig policies and procedures.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS / OTHER:

The ASM is expected to maintain a Home Office for company business. This position requires extensive (daily) travel within the Region as working with Distributors on a daily basis is expected. Travel outside the Region is also required to help with initiatives in other markets—but this travel equates to less than 15% or so of time.

Compensation includes:

  1. Competitive base salary
  2. 15% of base bonus potential based on AOP delivery
  3. Travel and Entertainment reimbursement via expense report

The ASM (NY) is responsible for the following geography: (Upstate New York and Northern Connecticut)
