Training Specialist
Reports to: Human Resources Manager
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Training Specialist works closely with Human Resources to ensure we are delivering effective solutions for leadership, performance & development while evaluating the effectiveness of these programs and ensuring we meet the development needs of all employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform business-focused training to new and existing employees
- Work with all divisions of the organization to analyze their training needs and incorporate those needs into a corporate training plan.
- Manage the classroom learning environment using accelerate learning techniques (adapt delivery to audience and provide opportunities for participation, manage group interaction and participation)
- Evaluate participant performance (conduct needs analysis, monitor participant progress during training)
- Develop training curriculum, class schedules, and material for new policies, procedures, products, and employee leadership skill development
- Research alternative learning delivery methods. Recommend and implement programs which will meet Keurig's learning and development needs.
- Track participant evaluation, class attendance and program certification.
- Develop strong relationships and communication channels with technical departments, corporate departments, and the Senior Management Team.
- Special projects related to Training and Development.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree in Organizational Development, Instructional Technology or related field a plus.
- 5+ years experience in developing and delivering corporate training programs.
- Excellent one on one & group presentation skills.
- Proactive, positive and confident team player.
- Demonstrated ability to work calmly and effectively under deadline pressure.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
- Ability to uphold Safety standards, participate in Continuous Process Improvement on the job, and follow our business best practices.
- Familiarity with LOMINGER a Plus
- Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions.
- Ability to follow Keurig policies and procedures.
