Key Account Manager - At Home Division

Reports to: Director, Retail Sales – At Home Division

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Key Account Manager will have sales responsibility of assigned retail clients in a specific part of the country or a channel of distribution. This position will be responsible for the launch and retail sales of Keurig branded coffee products. The Key Account Manager must be results-oriented with an emphasis on improving organizational process. He or she will need to be a disciplined planner and implementer with Strategic thinking ability. Primary responsibilities will include account planning and analysis and managing price, promotions, distribution and presentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strong emphasis on building market share, expanding distribution and implementing retail programs, ensuring retail prominence
• Develop yearly budget plans and monthly forecasts for each assigned account to help track progress towards sales objectives
• Develop effective Sales Presentations
• Account Planning inclusive of assortment planning, forecasting and trade spend management
• Coordinate retailer logistics and routing guide requirements, in conjunction with our distributor, to deliver the best customer service
• Manage Manufacturer Representatives in the field

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS/BA degree with 5 years of Sales Experience.
• Directly managed key retail clients including all levels of management
• Account management experience in multiple retail channels
• Successfully developed sales plans and executed them via an effective sales strategy
• Documented success in launching and selling products to all retail channels
• Demonstrated success in category management for key accounts
• Must be completely PC proficient, able to develop his/her own oral and visual presentations, spreadsheets and general correspondence
