Marketing Analyst
Reports to: Marketing
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Analyst is an important member of the Marketing team by providing timely reporting and insights that enable continual optimization of marketing and sales initiatives and timely response to trends in the marketplace that impact the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities include an ability to analyze industry and brand sales data, analyze results of marketing programs, and insightful reporting of data. Responsibilities include:
- Provide analysis of retail point of sale data both regionally and by DMA to measure HH penetration and awareness
- Analyze special merchandising and in-store gift with purchase promotions
- Monthly and Quarterly analysis of industry data
- Analyze the effect of television advertising and local events on our brand sales
- Various other marketing projects such as PowerPoint presentations, product analysis and market research that take priority on as-needed basis
- Analysis of current market trends and identification of possible opportunities for additional customers and sales potential
- Other analysis as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, preferably with a major in marketing
- Interest in marketing, marketing research or sales with 2-3 years experience in marketing analysis of consumer products
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to uphold Safety standards, participate in Continuous Process Improvement on the job, and follow our business best practices.
- Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions.
- Ability to follow Keurig policies and procedures.
