Q. Do I need to use a water filter with the B3000?
A. Yes, Keurig requires that you use filter in accordance with our warranty. You can get the filter kit #5025 from Keurig. There are filter mounting screws on the back of the brewer.
Q. Do I need to drain the brewer when moving it from one location to another?
A. Yes, we recommend that the brewer be drained before transportation or storage. Be sure to unplug the brewer before draining. The hot water can be very hot so please exercise caution.
Q. What are the advantages of 4 different brew sizes?
A. Four brew sizes allow you to match your favorite K-Cup with your favorite brew size and create your own recipe.
Q. How can I use the brewer in vend mode?
A. You need to order the coin changer #5557 from Keurig. This unit accepts 5¢, 10¢, 25¢ and $1 US and 5¢, 10¢, 25¢, $1 and $2 Canadian. The price can be set in 5¢ increments up to $2.95.
Note: Requires a Coinco Quantum Pro Model xxQ-G700 series coin changer which is not available from Keurig.
Q. Is the new B3000 platform compatible with the B2003 and conversely can the B2003 platform be used with the B3000?
A. Both platforms are designed for specific use with their respective brewers. The B3000 platform #5558 was made specifically for the B3000 Brewing System. Keurig does not recommend substituting incompatible equipment.
Q. How does the hot water feature work?
A. Place your cup on the drip plate and press the hot water button on the main menu to begin. Keeping the button pressed, fill to your desired level (up to 8 oz.), and release the button to stop. The hot water is delivered from a separate line and dispensed through the brew head.
Q. How do I service the B3000?
A. The modular construction and diagnostics of the B3000 makes it very easy to maintain. The B3000 will display an error message identifying the problem and the affected module.
Q. Can the B3000 brew without a K-Cup or Mug in place?
A. The K-Cup sensor and Mug sensor were designed to help prevent accidental brews, but can be overridden. Just choose yes or continue when prompted.
Q. Can I change the display background on the B3000?
A. Yes, the display background can be changed while in "MENU MODE".
Q. Can I enter a service phone number that be can be displayed if the B3000 needs maintenance?
A. Yes, a phone number can be entered while in "MENU MODE". |
