Senior Management Team

Keurig’s management team is a diverse group of individuals with extensive experience building a vast array of businesses. All are passionately dedicated to excellence in every aspect of our business to insure that Keurig Brewed® gourmet coffees and teas can be enjoyed at work, at home or when eating out. The team takes a great deal of pride in having grown Keurig to be the "gold standard" in single cup brewing worldwide.



Michelle Stacy: President

Michelle Stacy was appointed President of Keurig in October, 2008. Michelle brings to Keurig more than 20 years experience as a senior executive in marketing and global business management with The Gillette Company, and more recently Procter & Gamble (P&G).

During her career, Ms. Stacy has been responsible for building several world class brands and businesses, and she has managed the integration of several acquisitions. Immediately prior to joining Keurig Michelle served as Managing Partner of Archpoint Consulting, a professional services firm providing hands-on marketing, sales, operational and financial counsel and expertise to its clients.

At P&G Ms. Stacy was Vice President, General Manager of Global Professional Oral Care where she was responsible for the Global Professional activities for the Crest and Oral-B brands, managing over 700 people in over 70 countries. While at Gillette, she held the position of Vice President, Global Business Management for Oral-B, and earlier for the Parker and Waterman Brands. Additionally, she held positions at Parker Brothers, Clairol and Richardson-Vicks. Michelle holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Kellogg School at Northwestern University.



John Whoriskey: Vice President, General Manager - At Home Division

John is responsible for Keurig's At Home Division including the Retail business where Keurig can be found in over 17,000 stores. John joined Keurig in 2002 bringing to Keurig over 20 years of experience that includes President and VP level experience in marketing and sales in the home furnishing, gift, and consumer products industries. John began his career at Polaroid, where he helped build the brand and retail success of the Polaroid camera/film system. Prior to Keurig, he was President of Fetco Home Décor and President of Optelec, Inc. John also worked in VP level positions for Honeywell Consumer Products, Tucker Housewares, and The First Years. John also manages the new product development efforts for our At Home products. John received his BS and MBA from Boston College.



Dave Manly: Vice President, General Manager Away From Home and Consumer Direct Divisions

Dave is responsible for Keurig's businesses in the Away From Home and Keurig Consumer Direct (www.keurig.com) segments. Dave joined Keurig in 2002 after more than 20 years of executive experience in consumer goods sales and marketing. Dave began his career at Procter & Gamble where he was Brand Manager leading the marketing efforts of food products such as Pringle's Potato Chips, Duncan Hines, and Crisco. After P&G Dave helped grow the Boston Whaler boat company and brand in the premium boating segment as Director of Marketing. As VP Sales and Marketing of LoJack, Dave helped lead the company from start-up to become an international gold standard of auto security. Dave received his BA from DePauw University and his MBA from Purdue University.



Kevin Sullivan: Vice President, Engineering

Kevin is responsible for all Engineering at Keurig-including brewer development, and K-Cup packaging. Kevin joined Keurig in late 2003 bringing more than 20 years of engineering experience in consumer appliances and high volume consumer disposables. He served as Vice President of Engineering and Technology, Aerospace Electronic Systems for Honeywell International. Kevin also served at the Gillette Company, where he was responsible for the engineering and manufacturing of Duracell batteries.

Prior to Gillette, Kevin held several senior engineering management positions at GE Aerospace, and GE Electric Appliances, where he was responsible for new product development, cost savings and quality control. Kevin earned an MBA from New Hampshire College and a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.



Ian Tinkler: Vice President, Brewer Engineering

Ian leads Keurig's brewer engineering effort for both At Home and Away from Home. Ian joined Keurig in 2005. He brought more than 25 years of engineering experience to Keurig, including the design of aerospace electronic systems and of water treatment products for consumer and commercial markets. Before joining Keurig, he was Director of Research & Development for Culligan Water Systems, where he was responsible for the design of new products and for sustained production. Prior to Culligan he served as Director of Growth Strategies and Technical Director for EVAC, a vacuum water system supplier.

As Chief of Design for Electrodynamics, Ian led engineering teams in the design of systems for military aircraft. He has held senior leadership roles for Sundstrand Aerospace, where he was responsible for the electronic packaging of electric power systems, including the B2 Bomber, and Boeing 777. He holds an MBA from Rockford College and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Hatfield Polytechnic in England.



Bob McCall: Vice President, Packaging, Equipment and R&D

Bob is responsible for all process equipment engineering and R&D surrounding Keurig's K-Cup portion pack including packaging manufacturing equipment. Bob joined Keurig in June 2009 with over 20 years of engineering experience. Bob most recently served as Vice President of Engineering for Gillette (presently Procter & Gamble) in the blade and razor engineering group. Bob spent over 10 years at Gillette in engineering, design and state of the art manufacturing equipment. Prior to Gillette, Bob worked in engineering and operations at Millpore Corp. Bob holds a Masters in Business Administration from Suffolk University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.



Dick Sweeney: Co-Founder, Vice President Contract Manufacturing & Quality Assurance

Dick was a co-founder of Keurig in 1993 and joined the company full time as one of its first employees in 1996. At Keurig, Dick is responsible for Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Field Service. Dick brought to Keurig more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing, product development and consulting behind industrial and consumer appliances. Prior to Keurig, he was VP, Manufacturing for Canrad-Hanovia, a manufacturer of scientific and UV lighting. Dick also served as VP, Operations for V-M Industries, a consumer appliances manufacturer and importer. Dick has developed several US and International Keurig brewer and packaging patents. Dick received his BS from New Jersey Institute of Technology and his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson



Basil Karanikos: Vice President, Packaging Special Products

Basil is responsible for a variety of technology projects including long fluted filters, environmental projects and flexible nesting packing equipments. Basil joined Keurig in 2003. He brought more than 20 years of packaging engineering experience in food products to Keurig from Sweetheart Cup Company where he was Director of Technology and was responsible for the design, manufacture, installation and continuous support of hundreds of packaging lines. Basil received his BSEE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where he also continued his graduate studies.



Chris Stevens: Vice President Corporate Relations and Customer Development

Chris is responsible for building the Keurig brand through outreach efforts to the media, key customers, trade associations, and other influencer groups. Chris is one of the original members of the Keurig Senior Team, and started the Away From Home business for the company. Chris joined Keurig in 1996. He brought to Keurig more than 20 years of experience in consumer goods sales and marketing as well as general management. After beginning his sales career at Procter & Gamble, he became President of a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch. After also serving as Divisional Manager with A-B, he was Executive VP and General Manager for United Liquors before becoming Executive Director of the Sports Museum of New England. Chris received his BS from Notre Dame and completed the Executive Education program at Columbia Business School.



Mark Wood: Vice President, New Business Development

Mark is responsible for New Business Development at Keurig including managing the relationships with our K-Cup licensed roaster partners, and International opportunities. Mark joined Keurig in 2001 bringing extensive leadership experience from both the U.S. Military and private business. Mark started his career in the U.S. Navy where he was a pilot serving on an aircraft carrier. Mark also served as VP of Business Development at BroadcastAmerica.com and also gained experience in strategic planning, marketing and operations at Genzyme. Mark received his BA from the University of Rochester and his MBA from Harvard Business School.



Mike Degnan: Vice President, General Counsel

Mike manages legal affairs for Keurig, including leadership of outside counsel in the areas of contracts, and patents. He joined Keurig in 2004 bringing 11 years of experience in private corporate practice with two mid-sized Boston law firms, most recently at Rich May, where he was a shareholder and member of the firm. Mike's practice has focused on general corporate representation of a wide array of private and public businesses and transactional representation of a number of venture capital firms. Mike received both his BS and JD from Boston College.



John Heller: Vice President of Finance

John is responsible for the Accounting, Finance, and Procurement functions at Keurig. John joined Keurig in 2007. Prior to Keurig he was Operations Controller of Egenera, Inc., a data center virtualization company, CFO of Passkey International, Inc., a travel management software company and Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers' M&A Advisory Group. Earlier in his career, John served as an active duty US Army officer with various assignments including serving as a UH-60 Blackhawk pilot, and Assistant Professor at the United States Military Academy, West Point. John also serves as a Colonel within the US Army Reserves. He received his BS from USMA, his MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and is a licensed CPA.
