Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expresso Roast I make mine in small cups with a twist of lemon..brings back memories of Europe...just sit and sip and watch life slow down. I will order again once it is back in stock!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You must try this if you like Espresso! I have used another bold coffee exclusively until I tried this Espresso. It is bold, so smooth with the most pleasing after taste that I have ever found. I use it with Irish Cream ( Carolyns works best) and have converted my friends. For strong, bold coffee lovers this is a must try. It is the best coffee I have tasted in more than 60 years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nice cup of coffee This is a nice cup. Is it the strongest, no. There are stronger French &/or Italian blends, so the rating should not be as high as advertised. I drink it as a 9.5 oz mug and I am satisfied. Although I must admit that I used the 1/2 price coupon with the new brewer to make it taste even better. Next time, if I want a stronger mug, I'll have to order the French Roast, but again...it is not a bad taste at all, just not as strong as advertised.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from smells better than it tastes It makes for an expensive cup of coffee because the only way to make it palatable is to brew it on the smallest cup setting.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as bold as you'd think Despite my respect for Barista Prima, and my expectations for a product called "Espresso Roast" from Barista Prima and listed as "extra bold" this was a letdown. It was very similar to a house blend. It may be a dark roast, but there simpyl isn't enough in the cups to give a bold brewed cup. If you want even remotely bold, you simply cannot brew this on any setting besides "small". A regular cup size was a let down. If you like knock-your-socks- off bold, go for Barista Prima's French Roast- to this day it is the most bold K-cup I've ever found. Italian Roast is a close second.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Espresso ????????????? I love strong coffee. This coffee is labeled EXTRA BOLD COFFEE and rated on the Keurig website with the highest rating of 10. This coffee is mislabeled. I would rate this coffee a mild rating of 5 and rename it to reflect its mild taste. I think of the meaning of espresso, as a very strong coffee like Barista Prima's Italian Roast. I am making this coffee with a Keurig coffee maker on the lowest or middle range water setting and it still comes out with a mild taste. If you like mild tasting coffee, buy this one. It may not knock off your socks like a good espresso shot of coffee, but it's still a great tasting mid range coffee.
