To empty the internal Hot Water Tank, simply follow these instructions:

1. Brewer must be powered off but plugged in.
2. Lower the Cold Water Reservoir Lid.
3. Place a mug on the Drip Tray.
4. Press and hold down the BREW Button and continue to hold until all the water is dispensed into the mug.
5. There will be a 3 to 5 second delay before water begins to dispense.

The Keurig^® K15 / MINI Plus brewers are small, compact, and portable – great for traveling. If you plan to travel with your K15 or MINI Plus brewer, we recommend emptying the internal Hot Water Tank.

Under normal operation, the Brew Button will flash red when the brewer is heating and will turn solid red when brewing. If the Brew Button flashes red longer than 3 minutes, please contact Customer Service at 1-866-901-BREW (2739).

If more than 10 oz. is added to the Cold Water Reservoir the excess will collect in the Drip Tray. This is by design and does not necessarily mean water is leaking from the brewer.

To access the Cold Water Reservoir, lift the lid. Remove the Water Level Guide and then clean inside the reservoir with a damp, non-abrasive lint-free cloth as necessary. Replace the Water Level Guide and lower the lid when finished.

The red indicator means that the Drip Tray is almost full. Carefully remove the Drip Tray and empty its contents into the sink and wash with warm, soapy water.

You can add between 6 and 10 oz. to the brewer’s Cold Water Reservoir. 10 oz. is the maximum amount that you can brew at one time with these brewers.

Under normal operation, the brewer will automatically shut off when it is idle for longer than 90 seconds. Just press the Power Button to restart.

The serial number is located on the bottom, underneath the brewer. Please always remember to make sure the water reservoir is empty before looking for your serial number!

We recommend regularly descaling your K15 brewer every 3-6 months to help maintain the heating element and any other internal parts that come in contact with water.

Empty the internal hot water tank and cold water reservoir before storing. Store your brewer in a safe, frost-free environment in an upright position. Storing your brewer in cold temperatures may cause any residual condensation to freeze inside the brewer and could cause damage. Before using your brewer after storage, wipe the cold water tank with a damp, non-abrasive, lint-free cloth and run three cleansing brews (without a K-cup pod). Let the brewer rest at room temperature for at least two hours before powering on.

The K15 Mini Plus brewer will automatically turn off after 90 seconds of inactivity.

The serial number can be found on the bottom of the K-Compact^™ brewer box and on the side of the brewer behind the removable water reservoir. The number will be in the format: 35.xxxx.xxxxxxx.

All of our Keurig^® brewers come with a one year warranty from the date of purchase. The specific warranty details may be found in your Use and Care Guide.

Yes. The My K-Cup^® reusable filter accessory is compatible with the K-Compact^™ brewer.

Your brewer and water reservoir should be cleaned by wiping it with a damp, soapy, lint-free, non-abrasive cloth and rinsing thoroughly. You water reservoir should be cleaned weekly. Please do NOT place the water reservoir in the dishwasher.
Descaling is an important step in keeping your brewer and water tank clean, and maintaining the heating element and other internal parts that come into contact with the water. Descaling keeps your brewer free of scale or lime buildup that can occur as water is heated and passed through the brewer. For best results, we recommend descaling every 3 to 6 months using our descaling solution. A vinegar solution may also be used to descale your brewer. Consult your brewer user manual or visit our website at www.keurig.com/descale for descaling and cleaning instructional videos or to purchase the descaling solution.

Yes. The K-Compact^™ brewer will automatically turn off after 2 hours of idle time.

• Keurig® Classic Series brewers are our original K-Cup® pod brewers.
• The Keurig® Classic Series includes the Keurig® K15, a personal, compact brewer and the Keurig® K55, our classic single cup brewer. Functionally, these are comparable to our original K10 MINI Plus brewer and K45 Elite brewers.
• Keurig® Classic Series brewers are also compatible with the My K-Cup® Reusable Coffee Filter, which provides added flexibility by giving you the opportunity to brew your own ground coffee.
• Note that Keurig® Classic Series brewers are not compatible with K-Mug® or K-Carafe® pods, nor with the Keurig® Carafe.
 

The internal water temperature cannot be adjusted on the K15 and K50/K55 models.

Keurig® Carafes are specially designed to brew K-Carafe® pods in Keurig® 2.0 /Plus Series brewers only. They are not compatible with any other brewer models.

• With the exception of the Keurig® K15 and Keurig® MINI Plus brewers, once your Keurig® home brewer has been primed, you cannot empty the water from the inside. If you need to store your brewer, empty the removable Water Reservoir and store your brewer in a safe and frost-free environment. Please be sure to store your brewer in its upright position to avoid water leakage from the inner tank.
• Please note, it is not recommended to store the brewer in a cold environment as it runs the risk of water freezing inside the brewer and causing damage. If your brewer has been in an environment below freezing, please be sure to let it warm to room temperature for two hours before brewing.
 

The original My K-Cup® filter accessory is compatible with our Keurig® Classic Series brewers, including the Keurig® K15, and the K50/K55. It is also compatible with our original Keurig® K-Cup® brewers.

For Classic Series brewers (K15 & K55), you’ll need the original water filter starter kit.

The K55 Elite brewer has an auto-off feature. When the auto-off timer is enabled, the brewer will automatically turn off two hours after your last brew. To disable the auto-off timer, simply press the black auto-off button again and the green auto off light will turn off.
